Why Memorial Videos?

We create two different kinds of videos. One is a tribute video, most often from photographs of the loved one set to music of your choice. The other is a video recording of the service itself.

The first is a very moving part of the service as each person there reflects on the life of the one they have come to honor.

The second is even more important because:
...the nicest things that are said about a person are often shared most openly at their memorial or funeral service;
...the family is under the most stress at this time, and are least likely to be able to remember what was said much later;
...there are often those who would want to be at the service, but for one reason or another, can't be there;
...there are family members who owe part of who they are and will be to this loved one that perhaps they never knew (even those who are unborn now).

In every case the only thing that can come close to filling in these voids is carefully and skillfully captured video.

Funeral and memorial videos are respectfully captured with three cameras so that there is no distraction or movement during the service. Because of this, we have worked for virtually every funeral home in Calgary, and have been welcomed into houses of worship of different faiths. These videos are about the celebration of a loved one's life; about legacy; and about honoring them. The video becomes a cherished part of the family's history.
